Carbon Nanotubes

Carbon nanotubes have exceptional strength and stiffness, as well as extraordinary thermal conductivity and their electrical conductivity can show metalic or semiconducting behavior.
They are formed from the rolling of graphene sheets and are named according to the (n,m) nanotube naming scheme, where (n,m) denotes a vector in the graphene sheet perpendicular to the tube's axis.
